DIY Easy Pompom Billy Button Flowers

In the middle of winter I find myself really really missing flowers. Much as I love the snow and the cold and a cozy house, I love flowers, and I miss their presence. And while I could, of course, buy some, it’s just as much fun (and much longer lasting) to make them.

Things you’ll need:
Yarn
Fabric wrapped wire
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Fork
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Create pompoms by wrapping yarn around the tines of a fork until you have a nice, thick bulk.

2. Tie tightly in the center, pushing the yarn through the center tine to help find the right spot, and then slide off the tines.
3. Cut the loops and then trim to smooth the pompom.

4. Dab a small amount of hot glue onto the end of the wire then push into the center of the pompom. Repeat to create as many flowers as you want in your arrangement.
