DIY Easter Egg Topiary Tutorial

Welcome spring with a fresh piece of home decor! This Easter egg topiary looks lovely on your table for Easter or shelves all season long.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 30 minutes
Age range: 12 and up

Things you’ll need:
Halved wooden eggs
Acrylic paint
Hot glue gun/hot glue sticks
Styrofoam cone
Moss

Things to do:
1. Paint your wooden eggs. Start with a base coat and when it’s dry, add bright pattern details. Try polka dots or small “x” shapes.

2. Next, we’re going to attach the eggs to our Styrofoam tree. Apply a thin layer of hot glue on the back of the egg and attach it directly to the Styrofoam form.
3. When all of your eggs are attached, fill in the gaps with artificial moss. Be careful to apply it nice and thick, so the Styrofoam doesn’t show through.
