You’ll reap the sweet-smelling benefit of these drawer liners every time you get dressed or change your sheets plus see the lovely paper peeping out from beneath your linens, jeans or undies.

Things you need:
Two sheets of paper. choose something porous enough so the scent will permeate your drawers but sturdy enough to stitch together easily. You may want to choose paper in two complementary colors.
Sewing machine
Scissors, pinking shears or decorative edge cutters
Thread
Dried flowers and/or herbs. Dried lavender works great but you can also use dried rose petals, eucalyptus leaves, mint or other herbs and flowers whose scent you enjoy.

Things to do:
1. Measure the interior of the drawer or the shelf you want to cover. Allow a slight margin when deciding the dimensions of your liner so the paper slides in easily.
2. Cut two sheets of paper to the desired dimensions. If you have them, decorative edge cutters or even pinking shears add a nice extra touch to this part of the project. If the paper curls or has fold marks in it, you may want to lightly iron the sheets flat.
3. Using your sewing machine, stitch the two piece of paper together, leaving about 2″-4″ open space on one side.
4. Using a spoon or scoop, slide your dried herbs or flowers in between the two sheets of paper. Don’t use too much as you want the paper to lie relatively flat. Stitch the opening between the sheets of paper closed. Shake slightly to evenly distribute the contents.
