DIY Decorative Mini Wooden Acorns


These darling acorns take only minutes to make and look lovely displayed during the crisp Autumn months. Have fun mixing and matching different colors to create the perfect collection.

Time to complete: 15 Minutes
Age range: 12 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Wooden eggs
Acrylic paint
Jute
Scissors
Hot glue and glue sticks

Things to do:
1. Paint your wooden eggs in several different fall colors. Allow the paint to dry completely. Apply a second coat if needed.



2. Once the wooden eggs have dried, apply a drop of hot glue to the surface and begin wrapping jute around the top 1/3 of the egg. Leave a short piece sticking out from the top.



3. Display your wooden acorns and enjoy!
