DIY Customizable Intial Letter Ornaments

My kids LOVE things with their initials on them, so these ornaments are just perfect for them this Christmas. Customizable with any paper color or pattern they like, these are a sweet addition to your holiday decorations and a special ornament they can treasure always.

Difficulty level: Moderate
Time required: 30 minutes plus dry time

Things you’ll need:
Wood or paper-mache letters
Scrapbook paper
Matte Mod Podge
Foam brush
Craft knife
Ribbon
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Cover one face of your letter with a thin coat of Mod podge and center it onto your paper, smoothing to remove any bubbles. Allow the Mod Podge to dry thoroughly.

2. Trim away the excess paper from the letter and then paint a thin coat of Mod Podge onto the front of the letter to seal.
3. Once dry, cut a length of ribbon and attach it to the letter with a dot of glue on the backside. Tie the ribbon into a loop for hanging.
