DIY Burlap Christmas Door Hanger Banner


Decorate your space with a custom burlap banner. This project can be adapted to read a Christmas quote or word with sentimental value, adding a personal touch to your holiday decor.

Things you’ll need:
Burlap ribbon
Scissors
Needle
Thread
Jingle bells
Artificial greenery spray
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Metal ring
Acrylic paint
Alphabet stamps
Foam brush

Things to do:
1. Slide the end of your burlap ribbon under the metal hoop and secure the end over the hoop with hot glue. Be sure to allow time for the glue to dry.



2. Determine how long you want your banner to be and trim the burlap ribbon accordingly. If you want the bottom to have a V” shaped detail, allow an extra 4+ inches.

3. Use a sponge brush to paint the alphabet stamps and transfer your word of choice onto the burlap ribbon.



4. Cut a V” shape out of the bottom of the ribbon.

5. Use a needle and thread to sew three jingle bells on each side of the ribbon banner.

6. The final step is adding a decorative element to the gold hoop. Start by pulling pieces of greenery off of a spray.
7. Use hot glue to create a mini bouquet of greenery.
8. Wire a pinecone onto the greenery bouquet to complete the look.
9. Apply a drop of hot glue to the top of the burlap ribbon and attach the greenery decoration.
