How to Make a Deco Mesh Bow

Sometimes, in crafting, it’s go big or go home. Bows can be a great example of this. Big bows lend pop and attention to whatever craft they are part of, be it a gift that you are wrapping or a wreath that you are decorating. This mesh bow is impressive and dynamic without being overly complicated. Perfect to add to any project, it also works well as a decoration, sway or door decoration on it’s own.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 10 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Americana mesh netting or any other color of your choice (at least 8 inches wide, the wider the mesh, the bigger the bow.)
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Decide how long you want the tails of your bow to be. Cut a length of mesh that is double this length plus about 6 extra inches for the knot.

2. Decide how wide you want your bow and cut a length of mesh that is double this plus about 6 inches for overlap.
3. Fold the bow section of mesh so that the two raw ends meet and slightly overlap in the center, creating a circle of mesh.

4. Bunch the bow together at the center point.

5. Find the center of your tail section and, laying the center point on the front side of your bow, tie tightly on the backside.

6. Adjust the front of the tied section to your liking and then twist the tails down so that they hang evenly from the back of the bow. Fluff out the sides of the bow before using.
