Heart Paint Chip Banner

Using paint chips and punches to create a banner makes matching colors easy since the colors along a paint strip are already complementary. This petite little heart bunting is a lovely addition to your Valentines decor and is a great way to recycle that pile of paint chips you’ve been considering.

Things you’ll need:
Paint strips
Heart punch
Needle and thread

Things to do:
1. Using the punch, cut out as many hearts as you think you might need to make your banner, and then cut a few more, just in case.

2. Thread your needle with a length of thread about 6 inches longer than the length of banner you’re after.
3. Push through the back of one hump of the heart and then through the front of the other hump then pull it down the thread until it’s a few inches from the end.

4. Repeat until you’ve filled the thread.
5. Tie the ends of the thread into loops for hanging and arrange the hearts so they are evenly distributed along the banner.
