DIY Modern Fall Wreath

Difficulty level: Intermediate
Time required: 30 minutes
Age range: 12 and up

Things you’ll need:
10″ gold metal craft ring
Cloth covered floral wire
Fuchsia Artificial Peony Bush
Jumbo Purple Artificial Peony Stem
Light Green Artificial Eucalyptus Spray
Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Things to do:
1. Using wire cutters, cut a eucalyptus branch from the spray.

2. Cut two stems from the fuchsia peony bush, then trim the purple peony stem.

3. Using the floral wire, wrap the eucalyptus around the gold ring.

4. Wrap the eucalyptus, leaving a few inches of the stem free. Trim the floral wire with wire cutters, then secure the wrapped wire.

5. Bend each of the flower stems so that the flower is facing out.

6. Arrange the flowers how you’d like them on the ring. We placed a purple peony in the center and flanked it with a fuchsia peony on each side.

7. Starting with the purple peony, place the flower against the gold ring and wrap it in place. The placement of the flower doesn’t have to be perfect; you can adjust it later.

8. Add a fuchsia peony on one side of the purple peony, wrapping it in place.

9. Add a second fuchsia peony on the other side, placing the leaves of the steam on the outside so they’re visible.

10. Adjust the leaves and flowers so that the flowers face out and the leaves are spread out and visible.

11. Add a dab of hot glue to the back of each flower to secure it and ensure it faces out.

12. Hang your wreath, angling the flowers so that they rest slightly to one side of the ring.
