This minimalist black cat face fits with any Halloween decor. It’s perfect to hang in the living room or on the front door.

Things you’ll need:
Wreath base
Black ribbon
Black felt
Black pipe cleaner
Hot glue
Hot glue gun
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Gather your supplies. Make sure you have more than enough ribbon before you begin. I used 3 spools of the black ribbon linked above for an 8 inch wreath. Adjust as necessary, depending on the size of your wreath.

2. Bunch together three pipe cleaners, fold them in half, and cut on the fold. You should have six, equal length pipe cleaners.


3. Take three of the halves and twist them together at the end, while fluffing out the ends.

4. Cut two ears out of black felt. Adjust the size of your ears depending on the size of your wreath base. Make sure you leave enough flat part at the bottom of the ear shape to glue them to the back of the wreath.

5. Tape, or glue, the end of your ribbon the a spot on the wreath and begin wrapping. Be sure to cover any start point of your ribbon as you move forward.

6. Continue wrapping the ribbon all the way around the wreath. Be sure to cover all the white of the wreath as you go.

7. Glue the end of the ribbon on the back side of you wreath when you have wrapped the entire thing.

8. Apply a line of glue along the flat edge of the cat’s ear and place it firmly to the back of the wreath.


9. Apply a dab of glue on one side of the wreath and press the base of one of the whiskers firmly in place, holding until the glue hardens.

10. Repeat for the other side.
