Craft and stiffen your favorite fabrics and trims into beautiful unique shapes with the assistance of Aleene's Fabric Stiffener and Draping Liquid! Your handcrafted decor just got much more special! Stiffen crochet doilies, burlap, lace, ribbons and bows, cheesecloth and gauze, appliques, costumes, and even denim!
Be sure to wear gloves and cover form with plastic wrap. Place fabric in a bowl or bag, and pour in liquid to cover. Work into fabric, and squeeze out excess. Create your desired shape, removing excesses, again. Gently loosen from form as it dries. Simply clean with a damp cloth. Drying time will vary due to temperature and humidity level. When dry, this stiffener is water-resistant and easy to paint! Experiment tinting this medium, as well! Mix with the water-based acrylic paint of your choice. Easily thin this liquid with up to 50% water. Always be sure to test, first, for best results! This package contains 16 fluid ounces of stiffener. Conforms to ASTM D-4236.
