Steamer trunks, or flat-top trunks are given their name for their historical location that they are most known for; being stored in the cabins of steam ships. Characteristically known to be covered in canvas, these two small trunks follow suit in a natural off-white upholstery with burgundy illegible stamp ink-like watermarks. They are bordered in brown faux leather with coppery embedded nails. Antique brass swing box latches open up to light brown canvas linings with maroon tones.
Embellish coffee, buffet, or entryway tables, kitchen counters or islands, bedroom dressers, or vanities. Use them for your functional and decorative needs; storing items, such as sewing kits and supplies you use, or more special articles, such as endearing photographs. Display them, opened, presenting your rustic or primitive decorations in a fun and unique way. Even consider inserting beautiful floral or vegetative arrangements with flowing, viny leaves hovering over their sides. Place a matching-styled music box, or consider using this smaller trunk, in particular, to create a music box of your own! Made of canvas-covered wood.
