"I recd these quickly after ordering...within 3 days....and was surprised how nicely they were packed and sealed. The wood finish....as in unfinished... was very nice and not any blemishes on the wood that I could see. I stained these a nice dark oak, and they stained up nicely and very uniform. The gold locks and hinges were good guality and every single chests was in good shape. These were ordered to be given away as party gifts at a office regional meeting for a bunch of women, who can be particular about quality, but I felt confident that these cute little mini chests were ideal for my theme. I stuffed the little chests withbasket shred, added a gold bullion (Hershey gold nuggets), a gold coin (chocolate) and inserted a mini saying that said...You are worth your weight in Gold. The theme was A Treasure in every office that supported how important each person is for the success of the office. I am very happy with the product. "

"I was very pleased that the boxes arrived so quickly. I also appreciate that the wood is in good condition. The only issue I have is the clasps are very loose and often not centered properly. The hinges, too. However, I realize you have no control over that, and its very hard to get those things centered. I will always check with fdc when needing wooden boxes and will definitely use fdc in the future for these boxes. "
