Plaster Cloth is a cotton gauze fabric that has been impregnated with Plaster of Paris. It is an easy to use method for creating shapes and forms. Just cut strips and dip in warm water, then apply it layer over layer. Often used in dollhouse and railroad landscaping. Create rocks, mountains and more. It also can be used to form art projects.
Just wrap wet plaster cloth around a balloon or newspaper wads, allow to dry, then paint. When dry, the plaster coated cloth creates a durable hard shell. The cloth can then be sanded, painted and sealed. Non-toxic and quick drying. (Setting times may vary.)
