About the designer Jan Way:

Jan has always been a creative person. Creativity is difficult to describe because it is different for everyone, but Jan believes in creative visualization (what the mind can see, the mind can do). When a new idea comes to her, she tries to visualize a finished product. She says her best ideas come in the middle of the night when all is quiet or in the warm relaxing spray of the shower. (In fact for Christmas one year, her publisher gave her a pen with a light in it to write in the dark and a pad of clear plastic sheets with a waterproof pen so she could jot down her ideas in the shower)!
