They measure exactly 12 inches (the upper stem folds down as it drops) but if you measure it standing straight up it will give you the same measurements that you read in their descriptions. The Icy Twigs are exactly what I have been looking for. Thank you Factory Direct and it has been a pleasure ordering with you. (just to see what the dif was) other than maybe a little dif in the reflective quality they are the same. the little ice cubes fell off as I handled them but not to the point of losing the icy effect. stuck them in my long needled pine garland on the fireplace and randomly in the tree for addtl. interest. "
