Snowmen are one of those quintessentially winter things that, unfortunately those of us who don’t live in snow country, don’t always get to play with. But never mind! We’ll make snowmen indoors! This cute little guy is just perfect for your tree and a fun project for a cold day indoors by the fire.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 15 minutes plus dry time

Things you’ll need:
Small wood slices
Little top hats
Narrow ribbon
Scissors
Wood burning tool
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Orange paint
Paintbrush

Things to do:
1. Plug in your wood burning tool with the dot tip attached.

2. Burn dots for eyes and mouth onto the snowman face.
3. Paint on a carrot nose and allow the paint to dry.
4. Cut a 5-inch piece of ribbon and fold in half to create a loop.
5. Flip the wood slice over and glue the ends of the ribbon to the back for hanging.
6. Add a drop of glue to the top of the snowman’s head and press the hat in place to finish.
