Wood Disk Fairy Path

We are big fairy house lovers around here. I have two little kiddos who revel in the magic of the fairies that live in our woods and they pay them a visit every time they go out for a tromp to see what the fairies have been up to and maybe, maybe, if they are very lucky, to catch a glimpse of one. Now that the warm weather is here, our fairies have been very busy in their garden, laying out a new path between their front gate and their door with tiny wooden disks. Maybe your fairy house could use a path too!

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: Ten minutes

Things you’ll need:
Fairy house with yard
Wooden Disks
Small shovel or hand rake

Things to do:
1. Level the ground where you want the path to be. If you have grass growing around your fairy house, you’ll want to create small holes for the disks, otherwise just scrape the ground flat and spread out a thin layer of fresh soil.
2. Lay the wooden disks into the soil to create a path. Vary the sizes and keep them fairy close together for a wide path or pace them out evenly for a narrow, stepping stone style path.

3. Once you have an arrangement you like, press the disks gently into the fresh soil to help them stay put. You wouldn’t want the fairies to trip on a loose section of path after all!
