I’m a big believer in kids using their imagination, so simple is, in most cases, better in my book. And when they get away from the technological wonders and buzzing, beeping toys, most kids will feel that way too. So these little dolls are right up my alley. Personalize them to look like your child or even allow the kids to draw the dolls themselves and take over for the burning part.

Wood burning tool
Flat clothespins
Pencil

Things to do:
1. Using your pencil, lightly sketch out the doll’s features.

2. Screw in the fine or chisel tip on your wood burning tool and plug it in to warm up.
3. Trace the lines using the tip of your wood burner.
