We’ve noticed at crafting fairs that an interest in crafting often coincides with an interest in astrology. If you occasionally read your horoscope, or take a more serious interest in the ways we interact with the planets, thinking about the intersection of crafting and astrology, we came up with this guideline for which sign likes what crafts:
The Aries crafter likes working with power tools.
The Taurus crafter enjoys messy crafts, and crafts involving food.
The Gemini crafter can’t pick just one activity! She likes to do things that keep her nimble fingers occupied.
The Cancer crafter enjoys activities that help her make a more lovely and comfortable home and doing things for her family.
The Leo crafter enjoys making items with a dramatic flair and things that will enhance her beauty and make others notice her sense of style.
The Virgo crafter likes crafts involving strong detail orientation. She keeps her craft supplies very well-organized.
The Libra crafter loves knitting circles, quilting bees, some kind of crafting community.
The Scorpio crafter does not like frivolous crafting and will choose something that has deep meaning for her. She may prefer to keep her craft supplies hidden. She might enjoy Halloween themed crafts, or anything that has a hint of a Goth sensibility.
The Sagittarius crafter likes: Crafts that relate to history or to an exotic culture. As soon as she learns a new craft technique, she wants to teach it.
The Capricorn crafter like to do things methodically. She might make things for her office or start a business with her crafting.
The Aquarius crafter likes crafts that involve technology. Crafts she can do with a group of friends.
A Pisces seeks a craft world she can immerse herself in. She sometimes misplaces her crafting supplies.
