Washi Flower Tag Embellishments


These pretty flower tags are perfect for adorning gifts, cards or scrapbook pages are are so simple to make. Infanantly customizable with different washi tapes, they can be made to match almost any color scheme you want, and the hard work of cutting the flowers is already done for you!

Difficulty level: moderate, requires a steady hand
Time required: 10-15 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Flower tags
Washi tape
Craft knife and cutting mat
Craft glue or glue stick

Things to do:
1. Cover each layer of the flower with slightly overlapping strips of tape, making sure the ends of the tape go over the cut edges of the flower.

2. Flip the flower over onto your cutting mat and, using the craft knife, carefully cut away the excess.
3. Repeat with the other flower layers until you have all three layers covered in washi tape.

4. Layer the flowers up, adding a little glue to each layer to hold them together.
5. Add the flower to your card or gift to make your giftees day!
