Vintage Button Bobbies

Vintage_Button_Bobbies
It’s back to school time and this year I have a little girl who is going off to real school for the very first time which means we are in need of some cute little back to school accessories. These button bobbies are a perfect fit for the uniforms that she will be wearing in a few weeks time and since they are so simple to make, she is going to have gobs of them.

Things you’ll need:
Bobby Pins
Buttons
Scissors or needle nose pliers
Craft Glue

Things to do:
1. Play with the buttons for a bit to find different combinations, some are fine just on their own but others look better layered.

2. Remove all of the shanks form the buttons you have chosen using either a strong pair of scissors or needle nose pliers.
3. Slip the pins you will be using onto the edge of a cereal box, spacing them two inches apart.

4. With a generous dollop of glue, attach the bottom button to the bobby pin and then add any layers you might want onto it.
