Turn your little one into an Easter bunny! Kids love to play dress up, so why not dress up as a bunny for Easter. These ears are easy to make, and are tons of fun to wear. You can make these bunny ears together for family time or create them to put in Easter baskets. You can also use these as party favors, and costumes. You can easily adjust the elastic size to make the bunny ears suitable for adults, children and pets alike! Let your imagination go wild and customize your bunny ears with glitter, ribbon and other fun embellishments.
Things you need:
2 – Gray Felt Squares
1 – Pink Felt Square
Scissors
Paintbrush
Hot Glue Gun and Hot Glue Sticks
Fabric Stiffener
Felt Bunny Ear Template
Elastic
Things to do:
1. Print out your Felt Bunny Ear Template Cut two of the larger bunny ear shapes from the gray felt.
2. Cut two of the smaller bunny ear shapes from the pink felt.
3. Cut the 3″ circle from the gray felt.
4. Pour a small amount of the fabric stiffener on a paper plate and carefully brush on the fabric stiffener onto the gray felt bunny ears. Be sure to cover both sides of the gray felt ears. Set aside and let dry.
5. Next, attach the pink felt pieces centered on the gray felt bunny ears with a bit of hot glue.
6. The slit on the bottom of each gray felt ear will form two tabs. Fold the tabs towards the pink inner ear. Place a small amount of hot glue on top of the left tab and press the bottom of the right tab onto the glue until it is secure. You should now have a 90 degree corner at the bottom of each bunny ear.
7. Carefully place and glue the ears onto the gray felt circle (attach the ears by the 90 degree corners). Finally, attach the elastic under the gray felt circle with a small amount of hot glue.

Make an adorable tulle tutu—perfect for dress-up, costume, or a special occasion. What little girl doesn’t like to play princess for a day?! These lovely tulle tutus would also be super cute for a flower girl in an upcoming wedding! This technique allows you to quickly create an adorable tulle tutu for your favorite person or pet, using a few simple supplies. Be careful—tulle tutus are addictive! You may find yourself with one in every color!
Things you need (Makes 1 tutu for a baby, child, or pet):
2 Spools of Tulle Netting in your favorite color
1” thick Waistband (non curling) Elastic
Scissors
Needle and Thread or Sewing Machine
Tape measure
Things to do:
1. Measure the waist of the person (or beloved pet) who will be wearing the tutu. Add one inch to this measurement.
2. Cut a piece of elastic to match this measurement.
3. Overlap the ends of the elastic, forming a waistband, and sew to secure. You can do this by hand or machine. Instead of using elastic for the waistline, you can tie the strips around a long piece of ribbon and then use the ends to tie it up and make a bow. What girl doesn’t love to be even more of a princess with ribbons?
4. Decide how long you want your tutu to be. 12” is a good length for small children. Crawling babies and pets may need shorter lengths—about 8” would work.
5. Double the length measurement you want—so if you want 12” in finished length, you will need to cut 24” strips of tulle.
6. Use scissors to cut strips of tulle from the roll in your desired length.
7. Use a lark’s head knot* to attach each strip to the tulle tutu. Place strips all the way around the waistband. The more strips you use, the fuller your tutu will be. Your tulle tutu is finished and ready to wear when you are happy with the look
Project Notes:
Don’t limit yourself to a single color—you can use multiple colors to create a unique tutu for any occasion.
Decorate the waistband of your tulle tutu with silk flowers or pretty ribbon for a fresh new look.
*Larks Head Knot: This is a very easy knot to make—chance are, you already know how to make one, but didn’t know the name of it!
1. Fold the strip of tulle in half, forming a loop at the top, and letting the ends dangle.
2. Place the loop behind the elastic waistband, and pass the tulle ends through the loop.
3. Pull the ends to secure.

The hottest Halloween costume for 2009 is Lady Ga Ga infamous “Bubble Dress” This costume is easy to make with simple clear acrylic fillable ball ornaments! There are few things to do before making this bubble dress costume. First, you will need to order as many clear acrylic fillable ball ornaments as you think you will need to completely cover a body suit. Be sure to account for both the front and back of the body suit from about the shoulders to just below the hip. Get at least 3 different sizes of the clear acrylic fillable ball ornaments to get the best look. Buy a nude color body suit, black fishnet stockings, clear high heels, and a short blonde wig. You may want to try gluing the clear acrylic fillable ball ornaments with a clear glue like super glue to insure that the clear acrylic fillable ball ornaments won’t open while you are out and about. You can try sewing the clear acrylic fillable ball ornaments with a needle and thread onto the nude body suit. Be sure to loop through several times to make sure the clear acrylic fillable ball ornaments are secure to the body suit. If you can’t really sew or do not have the time you could also try using a clothing tag gun. The clear acrylic fillable ball ornaments should be touching each other and completely covering the front, back, and both sides of the suit. Be sure to try on the body suit throughout the process so you will know where to leave room for your arms so that they may rest at your side comfortably. Finally, now that your clear acrylic fillable ball ornaments are attached to your body suit, you are now ready to apply your make-up, fake eye lashes, and wig!
Oh and don’t forget to take your bubbles… you can blow bubbles at all your fans all night long!

What to bee…. what to bee? Here is a new, fun and unique do it yourself Halloween costume! This costume is far from the same ol’ hum drum Halloween costumes you see every year and it is simple to make with chenille bubble bees! To create this cute as can bee costume, the hair should be medium to long in length. You simply braid the hair and create a bun on top of the head. To make the braids longer for a bigger hive you could use yarn and for darker hair you could try using color hair spray that you can find at any local Halloween store. Now you can start embellishing with your chenille bubble bees and silk flowers! Begin by placing the chenille bubble bees around the whole bun in random spots, then place the silk flowers where you desire. You can secure the chenille bubble bees and silk flowers with bobby pins.
