These little bags are great for small gifts, storing small treasures or little kiddo coin purses. You’ll need a good strong hole punch, or an awl if you want round holes but small slits work just as well (better, even, for wider ribbon!)

Things you’ll need:
Felt square sheets
Ribbon – 1/2 yard per bag
Scissors
Something to punch holes with
Plate with a diameter of about 7 inches
Fabric pencil

Things to do:
1. Using the plate as a guide, trace a circle onto your felt for each bag.


2. Cut out the circles.
3. Punch holes or cut slits about an inch down from the edge. You’ll need 12 evenly spaced holes.
4. Weave the ribbon in and out of the holes and then draw in to close. Tie with a bow to secure.
