State Love Art with Scrapbook Paper

If you, like me, are living away from the state you normally call home (or even if your not!) pay tribute to your favorite corner of the USA with a little State Love Art. Of course, you could do different patterns, if states don’t appeal to your decor. The possibilities are endless with pretty scrapbook paper!

Things you’ll need:
Patterned scrapbook paper
Solid cardstock
Spray adhesive
Scissors
Matted frame

Things to do:
1. Print out an image of your state, scaling it down to be just smaller than the opening of your mat.
2. Using your print out as a guide, cut the shape of your state out of patterned paper.

3. Lightly coat the back of the cut out with adhesive and press onto the solid color paper.

4. Trim the paper down to fit into your frame and secure into place!
