Raise your hand if you have a pile of partial sheets of scrapbook paper sitting somewhere in your house! I know I do, in fact, I have several. This project puts those scraps to use and creates something fun and handy.

Things you’ll need:
Scrapbook paper
Printer paper
Stapler
Bone Folder
Adhesive magnet sheet
Scissors or paper cutter

Things to do:
1. Cut a strip of scrapbook paper that is approximately 5×12 and four sheets of printer paper to 5×10. You can vary the size according to the pieces you have on hand. Just make sure the scrapbook paper is the same width and two inches longer than the printer paper.

2. Fold the printer paper pieces in half, using the bone folder to create a sharp crease.

3. Fold the scrapbook paper five inches in so that there is a two-inch overhang.
4. Slip the printer paper inside the scrapbook paper and staple along the fold.

5. Fold the overhang in over the booklet and create a sharp crease using the bone folder.
6. Cut two small squares of magnetic sheeting. Peel off the backing. Press one into the center of the flap and the other to the corresponding spot on the notebook to create a magnetic closure.
