Scrap Nest Builder

It’s spring! All around our house the birds are busy getting ready for new babies by building nests up in our trees. To help them get ready we’ve been setting out little baskets of fluff and yarn. If you are a fiber person at all I’m sure you’ve got lots of scraps and bits sitting around and the birds at your house are sure to be thankful for this bounty and as spring progresses you and your little ones can watch the trees for brightly colored bits in the nest!

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: less than 5 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Yarn, fiber and ribbon scraps
Suet basket

Things to do:
1. Cut up your bits of yarn and fiber into small pieces so they birds can pull them out easily. Pull them apart and mix up to fluff them.
