Rick Rack Flower #2

These felt backed rickrack flowers require only a simple running stitch to pull them together and are super cute for hairclips, headbands, clothing accents or gifts. For another version (purple flower) click here.

Things you’ll need:
Rick rack
Felt
Scissors
Thread and needle

Things to do:
1. Cut a circle out of the felt using a template or the bottom of a glass as a guide.

2. Thread your needle and knot it into the end of the rickrack. Starting at the outer edge of the felt circle. Sew the rickrack down, drawing it together a little as you go to add texture.

3. Continue to sew the rickrack, gathering it as you go, around and around until you have reached the center. Trim the end and fold it under, stitching it down at the center. Trim all threads.
