Ribbon Bead Wand

When I was a little girl I loved ribbon wands. They were perfect for playing fairy, for dancing, for waving in the air. My little girl will love them as well I’m sure so I’m so excited to make her one. And this is a great ribbon wand, customizable to whatever kind of ribbon you have on hand or that your little one likes. While the bead isn’t a must have, it hold the ribbon on nicely and makes a nice finish for the wand.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time required: Less than 10 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Ribbon
Dowels
Large wooden beads
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Cut two lengths of ribbon twice as long as you want them to be hanging from the wand.

2. Fold the ribbons in half and glue onto the dowel, wrapping the centerfold slightly around the end of the dowel.

3. Thread the bead up from the bottom of the dowel toward the ribbon. Dab a little glue onto the top of the ribbon and pull the bead up over to secure it.
