Punch Heart Tree

I love cone trees, there are so many things you can do with them to create a holiday mantle scape or display. This project utilized printed paper and a heart punch to create a soft, textured tree for your display. When punching your hearts, fold the paper over on each edge to punch two hearts at a time to speed up the process.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 20 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Heart punch
Paper
Doll cone
Craft glue

Things to do:
1. Cut out a stack of hearts using your punch from your paper.

2. Glue a row of hearts around the bottom of the cone.

3. Begin adding the next row of hearts, adding a dab of glue to the point of the heart and pressing it between two of the lower hearts.
4. Continue to add hearts, overlapping them slightly, until you have covered the whole tree. Wrap two hearts, points up, around the top of the tree to finish.
