Plug Organizing with Washi Tags

It seems that every week, some new thing that plugs in arrives at my house. And since I live in an old home with limited plugs, that means we’ve got a lot of powerstrips around. The tangle of plugs can be quite a mess and it’s hard to know what’s what when we move or rearrange things, so these Washi Tags will come in very handy indeed to help straighten things out. Plus, they are pretty stinkin cute!

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 5 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Washi tape
Scissors
Marker

Things to do:
1. Lay out strips of tape on a hard work surface.

2. Write the names of your different electronics on the latter half of each strip.

3. Peel the tape up and wrap it around the corresponding cord, near the plug. Fold the tape in half so the sticky sides meet.
4. Trim the ends to look like flags for a fun finish!
