Create a family portrait using peg dolls for this unique piece of wall art!

Things you’ll need:
Wood plaque
Unfinished peg doll (female)
Unfinished peg doll (child)
Unfinished peg doll (male)
White acrylic paint
Purple acrylic paint
Silver acrylic paint
Turquoise acrylic paint
Paint brush
Small google eyes
Super small google eyes
Assorted felt colors
Embroidery thread
Marker
Hot glue
Hot glue gun
Scissors
Ruler

Things to do:
1. Paint the plaque and the peg doll bodies white and allow to dry.


2. Paint the peg doll bodies with 1-2 coats of color.


3. Glue eyes and draw a mouth to create a face for each doll.

4. Create multiple loops of thread until you are satisfied with the amount of hair and glue the center of the loops to the top of the peg doll’s head.

5. Trim the hair as desired.
6. Cut a 5″x1″ strip of felt and fold the ends under to create a banner.

7. Optional: Paint, embroider, or write the family’s name on the felt banner.
8. Secure the folded under ends of the banner with glue.

9. Glue the banner and the peg dolls to the plaque.
