Paracord Technique: Celtic Button


The Celtic button is an ideal way to finish off a piece with an attractive, secure tail. It can also be used to make a small fob or zipper pull and makes a nice decorative finish to any paracord project.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 15 minutes

Things you need:
Purple parachute cord or other colors of your choice

Things to do:
1. Fold the cord at the center point into two consecutive and matching loops with the left hand leg of the loop passing behind the right in both cases.


2. Draw the right hand tail up and weave through the loops, over, under, over, under.

3. Bring the left hand leg around and follow the right over and then under the first two legs of the loops but then pull it up and out of the next.

4. Gently pull to tighten into a firm ball of a knot.
