Paper Doily Jar Topper

I’m a die-hard canner. I love to make jams and jellies and pickles all year long and I LOVE to give them away as gifts. But I hate to give plain jars when I do. I feel like if I put the effort into making the jam, I should put a little effort in getting it ready to give. These simple stamped doily toppers are perfect. Quick and easy, even if I’m in a rush I can give my jar a little sprucing up.

Things you’ll need:
Jars
Small paper doilies
Stamps
Inkpad
Pen
Bakers twine

Things to do:
1. Coat your stamp with ink and stamp in the center of your doily. Add text to say what the jar contains.

2. Pull the edges of the doily down lightly around the edges of the jar. Wrap the twine around the jar and tie tightly to hold the doily down. Finish off with a bow.
