We are big fans of fairy gardens and miniatures around here and never miss an opportunity to add something small and cute to our garden. These cottages are our latest addition and we are absolutely in love! Look for flat, smooth rocks and pebbles with a slightly pointy side for the roof.

Things you’ll need:
River rocks
Permanent marker
Craft paints
Paintbrushes

Things to do:
1. Clean and dry your pebbles before beginning.

2. Using your paints, paint the room and main color of the house and a chimney if you want one. Allow the paint to dry.

3. Pen in some details such as windows, doors and bricks on chimneys.

4. Once the ink is dry, color in details with more paint.
5. Finish by adding bushes, trees and grass. Allow the paint to dry completely and, if desired, seal with a clear coat such as polyurethane before adding to your garden.
