Difficulty level: Beginner
Age range: 10 and up
Time to complete: 10 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Scissors
Paper
Hole punch
Pen
Ruler
Glue
Lollipop

Things to do:
1. Cut a heart pattern to create the petals for your flower. For our project, the heart is 3/4 inch wide and 3 inches tall. The easiest way to make a heart pattern is to fold a piece of paper in half, and cut half a heart. This will make a symmetrical heart.
2. Cut a leaf pattern. The dimensions are 1 3/4 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches long. Cut out.

3. Cut paper strips that are 10 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide.

4. Fold the paper strips in half and fold the paper heart in half and trace the heart onto the paper strips. Trace two hearts onto each paper strip and cut them out.

5. Punch a hole in the bottom of the heart shapes and leaf.

6. Glue heart shapes together, aligning the holes in the bottom of the heart.

7. Glue the leaf shape to the bottom of the flower, aligning the holes.
8. Slide the lollipop into the center hole of the flower and fold the heart shapes until they reach your desired look.
