Materials Needed:
1- Paper Mache Cupcake
1- Deco Art Snow Tex Medium
1- Valentine Pink Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint
1- Toffee Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint
1- Burgundy Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint
1 – Unfinished Wood Ball Knob
Folkart One Stroke Accessories Paint Palette
Weldbond Universal Glue
Paint brush
Plastic knife

Instructions:
1. The paper mache cupcake comes in two parts. First, we are going to “ice” the lid of the paper mache cupcake. Using a plastic knife take approx 3 tablespoons of Deco Art Snow Tex medium and put on your Folkart One Stroke accessories paint palette. Then add drops of the Valentine Pink Apple Barrel acrylic paint and mix into the Deco Art Snow Tex medium until you achieve the color of the icing you like. Deco Art Snow Tex medium makes it easy to achieve a dimensional effect and give you the bumpy, swirly look of icing.
2. Then with your knife start to ice your paper mache cupcake lid. Once you have covered the entire lid take your knife and dip the tip into the Deco Art Snow Tex medium then sort of pull out to give you the small peaks of the “icing” Set the lid aside to dry. Using the Folkart One Stroke accessories paint palette is really nice because all you have to do is rinse it off and let it dry. Clean up is so easy. Let the “icing” dry overnight.
3. Next take the Toffee Apple Barrel acrylic paint and cover the bottom of the paper mache cupcake. Be sure to also paint inside of the paper mache cupcake. Set aside to dry. Once the bottom is dry take a very small amount of the Valentine Pink Apple Barrel acrylic paint and dip the end of your Paint brush into the Valentine Pink Apple Barrel acrylic paint and form the dots around the edges.
4. Finally, take your unfinished wood ball knob , paint brush, Burgundy Apple Barrel acrylic paint and paint your unfinished wood ball knob . Use a small amount of Weldbond Universal glue and glue the wood “cherry” on the top to complete your cupcake!
