Kraft Paper Jam Jar Label

By the end of summer, the shelves in my pantry will be full of jams, jellies and pickles from the seasons harvest. And while we polish off plenty of those jars ourselves we give many away as gifts and I’m always looking for a fun and stylish way to dress those jars up for gifts. These craft paper wraps are quick and cool and have a great rustic yet fancy vibe.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time required: Less than five minutes

Things you’ll need:
Kraft paper
Glue Stick
Stamp Pad and Stamps and a pen
Scissors
Cloth measuring tape
Jars

Things to do:
1. Using the center of your jar as a guide, measure around, adding 1/2 inch extra to that dimension.
2. Cut a strip of paper to that length and two inches wide.

3. Using stamps and then pen, decorate the center of the strip, making sure to identify the contents of the jar.

4. Run the glue stick down the paper at several points along the back side of the strip, including both ends.
5. Wrap the paper around the jar and smooth down to help the glue make contact. Overlap the ends and smooth down. Allow the glue to dry before gifting.
