These craft stick snowmen are simple crafts for adults to make and great ones for kids – they’re the perfect craft project for a classroom. Use as simple puppets, or add a string to the top and you can use these as holiday ornaments.

Time required: 20 minutes (includes drying time)
Age range: 8+

Things you’ll need:
Jumbo wood popsicle stick
White acrylic paint
Felt sheet
Black shimmer ribbon
Buttons
Permanent black and orange markers
Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks or regular glue
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Paint one side of the craft stick. You can use two coats if you’d like – just allow the first to dry before painting the second coat.

2. Warm up your hot glue gun. Cut a square of the ribbon for the hat.

3. Cut a narrow piece of felt for a scarf.

4. Glue the hat to the top of the the stick, and glue the scarf as shown.

5. Glue the buttons to the bottom of the stick.

6. Draw the face onto the snowman with permanent markers.
