Kid Friendly: Popsicle Stick Easter Egg Card


Paint your craft sticks in different colors to suit the recipient’s taste, or stick” with traditional Easter colors. This card is for an egg, but feel free to experiment with other shapes for different styles of craft stick cards!

Difficulty level: Intermediate
Time required: 45 minutes
Age range: 10+

Things you’ll need:
Egg template
8 – popsicle sticks
Acrylic paint
Paint brush
Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks
Scissors
2 pieces of card stock

Things to do:
1. Paint your craft sticks and allow to dry. Print out the egg template, trace, and cut.

2. Fold one of the pieces of card stock in half.

3. Cut the card to size, and trace the oval and cut it out of the card.

4. The card should have an open oval in it now! Warm up your hot glue gun.

5. Cut the other piece of card stock to the height of card and the width of 8 sticks. Glue the 8 sticks onto the card.

6. The sticks can be arranged in any type of design.

7. Glue this to the inside of the card, so the sticks can be seen through the oval opening.
