Kid Friendly Popsicle Stick and Paper Fan Tutorial

As the weather heats up, it’s nice to cool off a little with a cute paper fan. This fan is static and the base is glued in place, but if you don’t mind operating a drill, you can drill a hole in each stick and attach with a brad rather than using hot glue.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 20 minutes
Age range: 10+

Things you’ll need:
Colorful popsicle sticks
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Hot glue sticks
Scrapbook paper

Things to do:
1. Warm up your hot glue gun. Glue the four sticks together as shown.

2. Lay the sticks on scrapbook paper, placed face down. Draw a fan shape as shown, making sure you’ll be able to glue all four sticks onto this shape.

3. Cut out the shape and trace it again.

4. Glue one side to the popsicle sticks, then glue the other side. Glue around the edges of the paper to enclose the sticks completely.
