Looking for a quick and easy – but adorable – way to count down until Christmas? Make this smiling snowman and clip off a ring for each day until Dec. 25! Easy for kids to make and definitely easy for them to use as they count down the days!

Time required: 30 minutes
Age range: 8+

Things you’ll need:
White ribbon
Black ribbon
Permanent markers
Scissors
Ruler
Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Things to do:
1. Warm up your hot glue gun. Cut 25 pieces of ribbon to 6″ long each.

2. Loop one of the ribbon segments into a circle and glue together. Then add another link to the chain and glue.

3. Continue until you’ve looped all 20 ribbon segments and created the chain.

4. Cut a piece of black ribbon to 5″ and glue into a circle for a hat.

5. Glue to the top of the chain.

6. Add a friendly face and buttons – then hang, and enjoy!
