How to Make Your Own Pom Poms Tutorial


These adorable pom poms are a great addition to a wide variety of crafts. Whether you hot glue them to a picture frame or use them to decorate gift cards, these colorful pom poms are sure to look festive and fun.

Time to complete: 5 Minutes

Things you’ll need:
Baker’s Twine
Plastic Fork
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Begin by wrapping baker’s twine around the end of a plastic fork. Wrap the twine around the fork about 50 times. The more times you wrap the twine around, the fuller the pom pom will be.

2. Cut a 5 inch piece of baker’s twine and slip it through the 3rd prong of the fork, tying it around the loops of fabric. Be sure to tie it tightly to secure the pom pom.

3. Pull the loops of fabric off of the fork and cut the ends of the baker’s twine, creating a pom pom look.

4. Fluff the ends of the pom pom and trim any excess pieces of twine.
