How to Make Paper Heart Flowers

It’s getting to be that time of year when our minds turn to pink and read and hearts and love. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! This year, why not present your loved one with some cute flowers made out of, what else? Hearts! Perfect for adding to cards and notes, these are also fun for scrapbooks, posters or kids crafts!

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 20 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Cardstock in two colors
Heart punch
Bone folder
Glue stick

Things to do:
1. Cut eight hearts out of your cardstock for each flower, 4 of each color for an alternating pattern.

2. Using your bone folder, fold each heart exactly in half with a nice, crisp crease

3. On your card or poster, glue one half of a heart down with the glue stick.
4. Add a second head, with the same half down with the cur edge butted right up against the folded edge of the first heart. Repeat this process until you have worked your way around to complete the flower. If desired, you can leave the hearts half folded or flatten them to overlap for two different flower looks.
