How to Make Paper Daisies

This paper daisy serves as an adorable page holder or looks great on top of presents in place of a traditional bow. Use different papers and card stocks to create a unique look that will match any occasion perfectly.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 20 Minutes
Age range: 10 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Old Book Pages
Buttons
Scissors
Paper Cutter
Glue stick
Hot glue gun
Heavy Card Stock

Things to do:
1. First you will want to trim your book pages, removing any excess white space. It looks better if the daisy is made of just words. You’ll need three 2 1/2 x 8 inch book pages.

2. Glue the tops of the three pages together with a glue stick.

3. Cut slits into the pages, leaving a 1/4 inch of space at the top of the pages.

4. Roll the pages up and use hot glue to secure the end of the roll.

5. Hot glue the base of the roll onto a small square of heavy card stock.
6. Find the center of the strips and press down firmly with your thumb. Once you’ve found the center, hot glue a button to the center.
