Time to complete: 30 Minutes
Age range: 12 and Up * Younger ages may need assistance.
Difficulty level: Beginner
Thing you’ll need:
Suede cord
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Chalkboard tags
Chalk Ink marker
Mini clothespins
Things to do:
1. The first step is attaching the suede cord to the glass jar. Add a drop of hot glue to the top of the jar, just under the lid, and secure the suede to the glue. Give it time to dry before continuing to the next step.
2. Once the end of the suede is secured, draw a thin line of hot glue under the lip of the jar and wrap the suede around the jar. Continue gluing and wrapping in a straight line until you’ve covered the top 1 1/2 inches of the jar.
3. Use hot glue to attach a mini clothespin to the front of the jar on the center of the leather wrap.
4. Write a sweet note or name on the chalk circle and pin it to the front of the jar.
