How to Make Easter Egg Magnets

Dress up your refrigerator with these fun and festive magnets! This is a great project to do with your little ones. Let them get creative and paint the eggs however they’d like and help attach the magnet to the back. They’re a great gift for grandparents or anyone else in your kid’s lives.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 20 minutes
Age range: 6 and up *younger ages may need help with the hot glue gun

Things you’ll need:
Wood egg halves
Acrylic paint
Paint brush
Magnets
Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Things to do:
1. Start by painting a base color on your wooden eggs. Today, I’m using a pastel pink and a mint green.

2. Once the paint has dried, add painted details. For perfect polka dots, dip the end of your paintbrush in an accent color and simply press down on the egg.
3. Use hot glue to attach a magnet to the back of the egg and display your artwork!
