How to Make a Work Wreath – Base for a Mesh Wreath

Mesh wreaths are all the rage right now and for good reason, fun to make and infinitely customizable, they have amazing impact for front door decor. At the heart of the classic mesh wreath is a Work Wreath, a prewired wreath form that allows you to easily add your mesh of choice to form your wreath.

Difficulty level: easy
Time required: 5 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Wire wreath form
Pipe cleaners

Things to do:
1. Starting on the inside ring of your form, fold a pipe cleaner in half and twist it tightly around the inner ring in one of the sections. Repeat this process in each section of the wreath.

2. Moving to the outside ring of the form, repeat this process, again placing one tie per section around the outside of the wreath form.
3. If you are using a very large wreath form, follow the same steps on one of the inner rings of the form. Smaller wreaths only need two sets per section.

4. Make sure both tails from each pipe cleaner tie are on the top side of the wreath form and you are ready to create!
