Things you’ll need:
Felt squares
Styrofoam ball, at least 2 1/2 ”
Google eyes
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Hot glue sticks
Sequin pins
Sock
Things to do:
1. Start to cover your ball with the sock. You’ll need to cut the sock and sometimes create notches to keep the seams smooth. Add pins to keep it in place.
2. Make the seams as neat as possible on both ends. They’ll be covered later but try to keep them fairly flat.
3. This is what the ball should look like.
4. Cut out teardrop shapes from two colors of felt for wings. Warm up your hot glue gun.
5. Glue in place.
6. Glue the eyes and a beak to the front.
7. Cut out a shape for the tail and create slits to make it look like feathers.
8. Cut a smaller shape and glue on top of the tail
9. Glue in place on the back of the bird.
