How to Make a Rustic Wood Slice Photo Holder

We love Instagram prints! They’re such a fun way to capture sweet memories and look lovely displayed around the house. This rustic DIY is the perfect companion to your cute new photos. You can display up to three images per log slice, making it easy to share all your favorite moments.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 15 Minutes
Age range: 12 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Log slice
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Dowels
Scissors
Mini clothespins
Photos
Drill *optional

Things to do:
1. Start by deciding how many photos you want to display. If you’re using smaller prints, I suggest 3 photos per log slice.

2. Cut three dowels in various lengths.
3. Apply a generous amount of hot glue on the end of the dowels and secure them to the log slice. If the prints that you’re displaying are heavier, you may want to drill into the log slice before attaching your dowel with hot glue.

4. When the dowels are secure, use hot glue to attach mini clothespins to the top. Make sure they’re facing up, so you can clip your photos in.

5. Display your pictures and enjoy!
